A My room is a living room. It’s old and classic. There are three carpets. There is one carpet opposite the fire and another carpet under a table. On the table there is a plant. Behind the plant there is a window. Do you have carpets in your picture? 

B No, there aren’t any carpets. My room is modern. There is a television next to the fireplace. Between the TV and the sofa there is a coffee table. On the table there are two books and a plant.  Are there any books in your photo?

A Yes, next to the fireplace and over a globe, there is a bookshelf and it’s full of books. Oh, I can see a difference, in your picture there is a painting over the fireplace and in my picture there is a mirror. Under the mirror there are two candles and between the candles there is a clock.

B Well, in my picture there is a radiator, and I can see in your picture there are three armchairs and there isn’t a sofa. That isn’t very comfortable! In my opinion I think that my living room is better and more comfortable than your living room. You don’t have a television!

A What are you talking about!? I disagree, I don’t need a television and in my opinion your living room is horrible and the decoration is vulgar. There is an exercise bicycle! My living room is classic, it has got style!

A Mi habitación es una sala de estar. Es antigua y clásica. Hay tres alfombras. Hay una alfombra frente al fuego y otra alfombra debajo de una mesa. Sobre la mesa hay una planta. Detrás de la planta hay una ventana. ¿Tienes alfombras en tu foto?

B No, no hay alfombras. Mi habitación es moderna. Hay una televisión al lado de la chimenea. Entre la tele y el sofá hay una mesa auxiliar. Sobre la mesa hay dos libros y una planta. ¿Hay algún libro en tu foto?

A Sí, al lado de la chimenea y sobre un globo terráqueo, hay una estantería y está llena de libros. Oh, puedo ver una diferencia, en tu foto hay un cuadro sobre la chimenea y en mi foto hay un espejo. Debajo del espejo hay dos velas y entre las velas hay un reloj.

B Bueno, en mi foto hay un radiador, y puedo ver en tu foto que hay tres sillones y no hay sofá. ¡Eso no es muy cómodo! En mi opinión creo que mi salón es mejor y más cómodo que el tuyo. ¡No tienes televisión!

A ¿¡De qué estás hablando!? No estoy de acuerdo, no necesito un televisor y, en mi opinión, tu sala de estar es horrible y la decoración es vulgar. ¡Hay una bicicleta estática! ¡Mi sala de estar es clásica, tiene estilo!
